A nonprofit organization funded by Swiss billionaire Hansjörg Wyss recently donated more than $60 million to left-wing groups and causes, tax filings show.

Berger Action Fund’s tax records also show it has donated $19.75 million to the Fund for a Better Future and $5 million to the League of Conservation Voters. Climate Power and the League of Conservation Voters are two prominent far-left environmental groups promoting aggressive green transition policies. Fund for a Better Future previously oversaw Climate Power, but the organization spun off as its own nonprofit organization in the summer of 2023, a spokesperson previously told Fox News Digital.

The watchdog group Americans for Public Trust (APT) cited multiple documents questioning his citizenship, including a 2021 Securities and Exchange Commission filing in which he said he was a “Swiss national.” I found a document.

Wyss’ work has also attracted the attention of Republican lawmakers who are eyeing legislation to prevent foreign nationals from “influencing America’s political system.” Axios reports last year.

A spokesperson for the organization told Fox News Digital: “Berger complies with the laws and regulations governing its activities and uses its grants to support or oppose candidates or political parties, or for other campaign activities.
