A stabbing incident occurred in Sydney, Australia, leaving several people injured, including a police officer.

Police were called to the scene after the accident at an intersection in Engadine, Australia, on Sunday morning.
When police arrived on scene, they found a 55-year-old man suffering from what appeared to be a stab wound, police said.
Authorities later used a Taser during the arrest and took the man into custody.
Authorities said the male officer suffered a “serious injury” to his left wrist during the exchange.
Police said the woman in the vehicle involved in the crash was found with multiple stab wounds.
Police said it was unclear what role the four played in the incident, although a fourth person was also injured.
All four were treated at the scene and the incident remains under investigation.
