Sydney Sweeney reminds fans of frisky side despite buttoned-up role in horror movie

Sydney Sweeney plays a nun in the recent film “Immaculate,” but the actress hasn’t been shy about showing off her playful side to fans on social media.

The 26-year-old “Euphoria” star shared a slideshow of photos on her Instagram page on Friday that were taken during a boating trip with friends.

Sweeney teamed her bold black and white wetsuit with black sunglasses and white sneakers, and her carousel included several snapshots in which she showed off her butt in a skimpy bodysuit.

“I think they call this a thirst trap,” Sweeney wrote in the caption.

The first photo is From Washington State The photo was taken from a low angle as she stood on the boat, holding onto a rope and smiling over her shoulder.

In the second shot, Sweeney is leaning against the boat, kicking up one leg and looking out to sea.

In another picture she posted, the actress is seen sitting on a boat, laughing and covering her hand over her mouth.

In the fourth photo in the slideshow, Sweeney stood at the front of a boat with her hair blowing in the wind.

In the final snap, Sweeney is seen sitting with her friends, hairstylist Glenn “Coco” Oropeza and makeup artist Melissa Hernadez, with her mouth pursed and her hands raised.

Sweeney posted this sexy photo after playing the innocent nun Sekuria in the horror mystery film Immaculate. Not only did Sweeney play the lead role, she also co-produced the film through her Fifty Fifty Films. The film is David Bernad, Jonathan D’Avino, Teddy Schwartzman, Michael Heimler.

Written by Michael Mohan and directed by Andrew Lobel, “Immaculate” also stars Alvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli and Simona Tabasco.

“An American nun embarks on a new journey when she enters a remote convent in the Italian countryside,” the film’s synopsis reads, “But her warm welcome turns into a living nightmare when she discovers that her new home holds sinister secrets and unspeakable horrors.”

Production took place in Rome, wrapping up in February 2023. Filming locations included Villa Parisi, the Doria Pamphilj Gallery, and Rome’s ancient Catacombs.

The world premiere of Immaculate took place at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas on March 14. The Los Angeles premiere took place at the Egyptian Theatre on March 15 during Beyond Fest, and Immaculate was released in theaters on March 26.

During an appearance on the “Today” show in March, Sweeney revealed that her two grandmothers accompanied her on set in Italy and made cameo appearances as nuns in the film, and they also attended the “Immaculate” Los Angeles premiere and posed for photos with Sweeney.

“I flew them out to Italy and had them visit me on set, and I made them extras as nuns,” Sweeney said, “and then I took them to the premiere in LA. They were thrilled.”

Sweeney also explained his motivation for taking on the project, which is so different from his previous films and TV shows.

“I think that’s what I love about it,” she says. “It’s a complex character, it’s a fascinating story, and I love the horror genre. It’s exciting.”

The “Anyone But You” star said the film is dark and boundary-pushing.

“We like to push the envelope,” she said. “We wanted to go to different places.”

Sweeney also shared his thoughts on how the film will be received by audiences.

“I think there will be a range of reactions, and I love that,” the White Lotus alum said. “I love that the film and the ending will generate discussion and debate,” she said. “I think it’s going to be a turbulent journey for some people.”

Sweeney revealed that the final scene of “Immaculate” was filmed in one take, without any rehearsal.

“The final scene in the movie was done in one take, and you’ll see the first take that we did,” she explained. “I don’t like to plan things. I like to let it feel natural.”

“And my character, Cecilia, was going through a lot: anger, pain, freedom, fear. As we were blocking the cameras, the director, Michael Mohan, asked me, ‘Shall we rehearse?’ and I said, ‘Let’s see what happens,’ and that’s what happened.”
