Sidney Sweeney Addresses Breast Implant Rumors

Sidney Sweeney recently tackled speculation about whether she has breast implants during a lie detector test with her Housemaid co-star, Amanda Seyfried.

“There’s a question that’s been on everyone’s mind lately: Are your boobs real?” Seyfried playfully asked in a segment for Vanity Fair, released on Thursday.

“Yeah,” Sweeney responded with a laugh. “I have never applied for work anywhere.”

The lie detector examiner verified that Sweeney, 28, was indeed being truthful in her response.

Seyfried humorously quipped, “Can I touch it?” to which Sweeney replied, “Of course,” keeping the mood light.

This marks the second time this week that Sweeney has addressed plastic surgery rumors, especially when she was questioned during an interview with Allure.

“Let’s debunk them all,” she stated. “I mean, I’ve never worked… I’m so scared of needles. You have no idea.”

In an interview with Variety back in October, Sweeney shared her thoughts on wanting to “age gracefully.”

Additionally, she pointed out that it feels unfair to be compared to images of her at just 12 years old. “Of course I’ll look different. I’m wearing makeup now, but I’m 15 years older,” she explained.

Sweeney also mentioned that she has no tattoos, emphasizing again her fear of needles.

In another part of the interview, Sweeney discussed how fans sometimes interpret her characters and assume they know her personally. “So when people think, ‘Oh, she’s a sex symbol,’ or ‘She’s leaning towards sex symbols,’ I’m like, ‘No, I just feel good and I feel strong because I’m doing it for myself,’” she elaborated.

Ultimately, Sweeney expressed her desire to “inspire other women to feel confident and show off what they’ve got.”
