Sydney Sweeney reportedly called the police to alert them to trespasser at her home and that call ended up resulting in a robbery arrest.
Law enforcement officials told TMZ that Sweeney was filming a biopic on the East Coast when she received an alert from her security cameras. The cameras reportedly revealed that there was a person sneaking around on her property Monday at roughly 3:30 a.m. The “Euphoria” star wasted no time placing a call to police to alert them to the situation and that’s when things took a turn for the suspect, according to TMZ.

The intruder didn’t stay on Sweeney’s property for long. By the time police arrived, the person had already left the star’s home, so police continued investigating by searching the surrounding area, according to TMZ.

Sources told TMZ the suspect entered the home of one of Sweeney’s neighbors and ransacked the property before fleeing the scene with stolen goods. Police managed to locate the unwelcome visitor. They arrested the suspect and charged the individual with felony robbery, according to TMZ.

The alleged culprit was taken into police custody, largely as a result of Sweeney’s call to police, according to TMZ.
This is just one of many burglary attempts in the Los Angeles region this year. A number of celebrities, including Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Sarah Hyland, Marlon Wayans, Corinna Kopf and Bhad Bhabie, have been targeted in recent months.
