While traveling in Italy with their parents, Sofia, Sistine, and Scarlett Stallone met the Pope, who told Sly in Italian with the help of an interpreter, “We grew up on your movies.”

“He said he was watching a movie and we all looked at each other like, ‘Oh my god,'” Sophia, 27, said.

“He’s probably the only person on the planet that I have no idea about,” Scarlett, 21, continued.

“Is our father known to the Pope? In what way?” Sistine, 25, added.

In scenes filmed for the reality seriesStallone familyFrances, whose second season debuted this week, also said she was “honored” to meet the “Rocky” star and referred to her daughters as her “three Marys.”

“I think meeting famous people has reached its peak,” Sophia said. “That was it. That was the top.”

“When I see him, I feel a lightness that cannot be described in words,” Scarlett said. “I don’t know if it was because I was nervous, but I felt very sacred.”

Sistine described it as an “out-of-body” experience.

“Even before he walks into the room, we feel his presence, almost like an energy rushing over us,” she added.

The sisters, who grew up in Los Angeles, said the series about their famous family has been a long time in the making.

“We’ve always been approached to do reality shows,” Sistine said.

“Every network is trying to find out who our family is from the inside. And I don’t think the timing was ever right.”

“I mean, we were all in middle school and high school, so we were in a really awkward phase,” Scarlett continued.

In the season 2 finale, Sly, 77, and his daughters host a celebratory dinner for Flavin, 55, but their mothers don’t always get the recognition they deserve, so the daughters… He said this was a special moment.

“This show definitely revolves around my father, and he gets a lot of screen time and attention. But she’s really not just the glue that we see on the show, but the glue of our entire family.” It’s also a drug,” Sistine gushed.

Flavin said the girls were “very involved” while they were growing up, especially when their father was away filming a movie.

“He was out for about eight or nine months at a time doing movies,” Sophia said. “So she played the role of dad and mom. She was there for every game, every drop-off, every pickup.”

Sophia and Sistine moved to New York a year ago, and they hope Scarlett, a college junior in Miami, will follow suit once she graduates.

“I disagree about California and New York,” Scarlett said. “But then I hear these two people in my ear saying, ‘No, no, no, you have to move to New York.'”

“You must stay with us. We will not part,” Sistine said.

Scarlett agreed, and seemed to have already made up her mind.

“Well, not really,” she said. “And I honestly would be very unhappy if I were on the other side of the country from them.”
