The bell will ring again for you.
A beloved 1990s menu item is making a comeback at Taco Bell, but you'll have to move quickly to get some.
The Double Decker Taco is a hard shell taco wrapped in a flour tortilla smoothed with refried beans, and is available for a limited time until October 30th.
There's also a sublime option with sour cream and diced tomatoes.
The $2 double-decker taco was first offered as a limited-time menu item in 1995 and became a permanent menu item in 2006. According to “Today”.

Previously, the stacked main dish was revived for a limited time at the end of 2023 after losing out to Enchirito in the 2022 revival competition.
Although it didn't reach non-fan audiences, high demand led Taco Bell to bring back the two-story delight.
The fast-food chain recently leaned into its menu to inspire nostalgia by bringing back staples from each decade since the 1960s.
These include green burritos, meximelts, caramel apple empanadas, and more.
The move also comes after Taco Bell gave franchise owners the option to opt out of serving breakfast foods.
