An NBA player’s home was broken into and thousands of dollars worth of jewelry was stolen.
NBA guard Talen Horton-Tucker’s Los Angeles home was burglarized and $170,000 worth of jewelry was stolen. According to TMZ:.
Horton-Tucker was not at the home at the time of the break-in, but a house sitter who discovered what had happened called police.
As of now, the perpetrator is still at large, but police are actively investigating.
Part of the break-in was captured on camera, and footage showed the burglar jumping over a rear fence to enter the property and exiting through one of the side yards, according to the report.
This is the second break-in against an NBA player in the Los Angeles area, after former player Patrick Patterson’s home was burglarized earlier this month.
The incident was also captured on video, with two men wearing ski masks and black gloves entering Patterson’s property.
Again, no one was home at the time the crime was alleged to have taken place.
Police were reportedly actively investigating the incident at the time it happened. TMZ was first to report the news.

Horton-Tucker spent the past two seasons with the Jazz after being traded to the Lakers after being selected 46th overall by the Magic in the 2019 NBA Draft and beginning his career there.
The guard played in 51 games for the Jazz last season, starting 11 of them.
Horton-Tucker averaged 10.1 points in 19.8 minutes per game.
He also grabbed 2.8 rebounds and dished out 3.5 assists per game.
Horton-Tucker was part of the Lakers that won the NBA title in 2020.
