Tara Reid Shares Disturbing Details of Alleged Drug Incident in Chicago

Tara Reid has come forward with distressing accounts regarding an alleged drug incident at a hotel bar in Chicago over the weekend.

“It’s genuinely frightening. It’s not just something that happens to women; men too need to be cautious about their drinks,” she remarked in a Monday interview with TMZ.

Reid, 50, stated that the substance “knocked me unconscious for eight hours.” She was taken from the DoubleTree Hotel at Chicago O’Hare Airport to a hospital, where she “woke up eight hours later.”

She recounted that doctors didn’t conduct a blood alcohol test, but instead told her, “You were drugged last night at a bar.”

Interestingly, Reid admitted she didn’t inquire about the specific drug involved, even though she had undergone tests to determine what it was. “Everything was a blur,” she added, struggling to piece together the events. “I can’t even explain it because I don’t even know what happened.”

She emphasized her confusion when she realized she was being assisted at the hospital by a woman who she thought couldn’t communicate in English.

Despite her disorientation, her agent arrived to take her to an autograph signing after her release. “We did it, left, and went back to the house. It was just a big blur,” Reid explained. She expressed relief that the incident had occurred in a public area and was grateful for the presence of security personnel who aided her.

“Things could have gone really, really, really wrong,” she said, speculating that being in a less public space might have resulted in more severe consequences.

On Monday, a video surfaced showing an incoherent Reid being transported to the hospital. She issued a grave warning to everyone regarding their drinks: “Everyone needs to be really careful because whatever it was, it knocked me out immediately.”

Page Six inquired with Reid’s representative but didn’t receive a response right away. Meanwhile, Lt. Joseph Balogh from the Rosemont Department of Public Safety noted that, despite claims from Reid’s representatives, no police report had been filed. He confirmed that an EMS call was made for an ambulance, yet “there was no other mention of drugs or suspicious activity in the report.”

Balogh added that the department is not currently investigating Reid’s allegations but will proceed if a formal report is made and “the victim comes forward.” “We’re waiting for it,” he stated.

A video released on Monday captured Reid being helped by hotel staff prior to her hospital visit. She asserted that her drink was tampered with while she stepped outside for a cigarette break.
