Kamala Harris claims that if she becomes president, she will lower prices and make it possible for Americans to live comfortably again.
But that couldn't be further from the truth. Glenn Beck I'm not going to sit back and accept the lies.
“All of the progressive insanity literally comes from Kamala Harris. She was the deciding vote on all these big projects, like the Cut Inflation Act, which wasn't designed to cut inflation. It was designed as a Green New Deal,” Glenn explains.
“Kamala Harris lied about the Stop Inflation Act. They named it that because they knew you were going to think, 'Well, we need this because inflation is out of control,'” he continues.
The economy has deteriorated after three and a half years of Biden-Harris rule so far, but Kamala will make it even worse.
The Vice President wants to tax unrealized gains.
“This is just the beginning,” Glenn said. “She has the idea of a $5 trillion tax, some of which, most of which is unrealized gains. What are unrealized gains? Let's say your house goes up in value by $100,000 in a year. You have to pay 25% of that in taxes.”
“So if the value of your house goes up on April 15th, that means you owe $25,000 on April 15th on top of what you already owe,” he explains. “But wait a minute: if my house collapses, is the government going to pay me?”
The answer is a resounding “no.”
“That's the problem we're facing now: How do you make sure people have nothing? Tax them until they die,” Glenn said. “That would absolutely destroy the economy. She's the Hugo Chavez of the United States, or Maduro.”
