He said many of the lyrics “resonate with” listeners and can have a positive impact on their mental health in that they reflect and embrace similar experiences.

He suggested that having a huge star like Swift write about the painful things she’s been through could, in some ways, help take the “celebrity” out of “celebrity.”

“These songs are very personal and unique to Taylor. [Swift]Yet it manages to be universal in the way fans connect with and empathize with them. ”

“This helps bring the focus back to celebrity to some extent. Being world-famous and being rich takes away from the ups and downs of the human experience and the pain that everyone can experience in life. “It’s not necessarily about protecting anyone,” he said.

Kyler said two songs in particular stood out to him for their unique messages: “I Can Fix Him, No Really I Can” and “I Can Do It With A Broken Heart.”

At first glance, “I Can Fix Him, No Really I Can” appears to be about someone who wants to be in a relationship with another person, someone who is deeply hurt and fragile.

Kyler said the song “beautifully depicts the relationship dynamics of feeling a strong attraction to someone and ultimately becoming very toxic to you.”

“I Can Do It With A Broken Heart” is the song that really caught Kyler’s attention.

He said lyrics such as “I cry a lot, but I’m so productive/This is art” are “ambiguous.”

He said, “One interpretation would be, “I’m in deep pain, but I can cover it up; no one knows how I’m hurting,” but another. Part of it is this sense of mastery at that stage. “Even if you’re struggling in different aspects of your life, you can continue to do the parts of your life that support you and that you’re proud of.” he said.

Taylor Swift’s birthing hospital will give parents who welcome their baby on December 13th a “newborn era” bracelet.
