Taylor Swift Misses Bills Matchup

It seems that Bills Mafia didn’t get the chance to welcome Taylor Swift to Western New York after all.

The pop superstar, aged 35, reportedly missed the Chiefs’ 28-21 loss to Buffalo in Kansas City, a game where her fiancé, Travis Kelce, played, bringing the Chiefs to a 5-4 record.

Swift got engaged to Kelce, 36, last summer. She previously attended a playoff game in January 2024, where her future brother-in-law, Jason Kelce, connected with Bills fans as Kansas City secured a 27-24 victory, keeping their Super Bowl hopes alive.

A few weeks later, the Chiefs triumphed over the 49ers 25-22 in an overtime thriller, a match Swift watched in Las Vegas as they clinched the championship.

This year, however, Swift has been more discreet. After their public relationship surfaced during the 2023 season, she has kept a low profile, avoiding public engagements.

According to a report from The Daily Mail, the “Life of a Showgirls” singer mentioned she prefers staying out of the spotlight due to security concerns.

On Monday, she was spotted in a private box at Arrowhead Stadium alongside Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, during Kansas City’s 28-7 victory over the Commanders. This season, she seems to be prioritizing home games more.

The rivalry between the Chiefs and Bills has grown in intensity, becoming a notable matchup in the NFL in recent years. Last November, Buffalo defeated Kansas City 30-21 in the regular season, but the Chiefs countered in the playoffs with a close 32-29 win in the AFC Championship Game this past January. Kansas City then faced Philadelphia in the 2025 Super Bowl, where they unfortunately lost 40-22.
