Teacher identifying as a 'wolf' let go after reportedly making 'sexually inappropriate' remarks, according to Hegseth.

Army Secretary Pete Hegseth announced the dismissal of an elementary school teacher who identified as transgender, following multiple complaints from families at Fort Bragg.

Concerns were initially raised by military families about a substitute teacher and teacher’s aide at Mildred B. Poole Elementary School, who reportedly used various names like “Roxanne Wildheart,” “Keira Blackheart,” and “Savage Beast Queen.”

“The ‘wolf’ has been fired,” Hegseth confirmed.

Parents expressed worry over the teacher’s interactions with their children, claiming inappropriate discussions about the teacher’s identity and dating preferences occurred.

As early as 2025, families spoke up, criticizing school administrators for not addressing what they described as the teacher’s unsettling behavior, specifically citing attire that included feminine clothing and accessories like dog collars and animal tails.

The teacher reportedly claimed to transform into a “wolf” at night and shared personal details in front of the students, which made several children feel frightened. One child even confided to their mother, “Mommy, I’m scared the teacher is going to come and eat me.”

Another child mentioned, “Mommy, Roxy says she was born in a male body, but she’s actually female, and she likes boys!”

Hegseth emphasized the need to protect students from further unsettling behavior.

“The ‘wolf’ was fired two weeks ago,” he stated.
