Team USA, Capitals Star TJ Oshie Defends Trump Post, Says Critics Have No ‘Honor’

Washington Capitals and Team USA Olympic hockey player TJ Oshie takes aim at those who attacked him in social media posts celebrating Donald Trump's inauguration, accusing them of having no honor did.

On Monday, Oshie posted a photo of the president with the message “America is back” and his pledge to fight for all Americans. Along with the image, Oshie wrote, “God bless America.”

But his celebratory post was quickly attacked by Trump-hating left-wing keyboard warriors who accused Oshie of celebrating Trump's return to the White House. fox news Reported.

Later that night, Oshie, who was with the 2018 Stanley Cup-winning Capitals, jumped on the post to reply to his detractors.

“It escalated quickly!” the 38-year-old player wrote in X. Yes, even you who are making negative comments stink a bit. I have decided to respect everyone until you prove otherwise. ”

But he also condemned the attackers, calling them foolish and without honor.

“If it makes you feel better to scream at me over the internet, that's great, but I don't see any honor in it and I think it's ridiculous.”

Oshie went on to address the many left-wing commenters who have attacked Donald Trump's children and accused him of being a bad parent simply for supporting him.

Oshie said, “Thank you to everyone who was worried about my daughters.'' “All four of my children grew up with parents who supported them, who told them they loved them every day, who taught them to be strong and, most importantly, to be good and kind people. Masu.”

Oshie also called on the blackmailers to throw away their jerseys or burn them.

“P.S. For those of you who are throwing away your jerseys…you may want to scratch off your name and number. Remember, the name on the front is much more important than the name on the back. We love you all today and always.” God bless America!”

Oshie was selected 24th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the St. Louis Blues, where he played seven seasons and spent the past nine seasons with the Capitals. He also played for Team USA at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
