U.S. men’s Olympic basketball coach Steve Kerr and NBA star Stephen Curry made the case for Kamala Harris’ presidential bid during a press conference at the Paris Games on Thursday.
The two men made the inappropriate remarks before the U.S. men’s team took to the court for their first match.
“Vice President Harris is ready to throw her all into this campaign, and I expect her to win, which is a big deal to say the least,” Curry said. “She represents the Bay Area. She’s a big advocate for us, so I want to give that energy back to her.”
“I’m just excited. Obviously we’re representing our country. The next few months are monumental for the country and the direction we’re heading. Hopefully this is a great way to do our part and continue to unite the country. Sports brings a lot of people together. For her, this moment, knowing what’s coming next, is a sense of positive energy and optimism and knowing how divided the country is right now.”

The comments from the two far-left athletes were not unexpected and were the first time either of them have spoken publicly about Kamala Harris’ bid for the Democratic presidential nomination following Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the campaign trail over the weekend.
