Ashley Smith, sister of Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith, recently showcased a bouquet from Taylor Swift during Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding last Friday.
Attending the event at Madison Square Garden as her brother’s guest, Ashley posted a photo of herself with the pink flowers, creating a carousel on Instagram.
“Celebrating the enchanting S(T&T)ory of love 🤍✨🤍 And somehow… I ended up catching Tay Tay’s bouquet of flowers. 💐,” she shared.
Ashley expressed her hopes for the bouquet saying she believes it will bring her “a lifetime of love, luck, and laughter.” She congratulated the couple, saying, “Cheers to forever T&T! 🤍🥂🤍.”
She wore a stylish black beaded gown while Trey looked sharp in a black tuxedo adorned with beaded shoulders. Another picture revealed custom napkins featuring the lyrics “So it’ll be forever” from Swift’s hit “Blank Space,” alongside the wedding date and a monogram for the couple.
Ashley, who works in the NFL focusing on player engagement, runs initiatives assisting current and former players in discovering their passions beyond football.
Swift and Kelce, both 36, exchanged vows in front of over 1,000 attendees, with actor and comedian officiating the ceremony.
Chiefs head coach Andy Reid commented on the officiant, stating that he shared “inspiring” and “simple” advice about marriage.
Interestingly, Swift and Kelce opted against having traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother, Austin, filled the role of “man of honor,” while Kelce’s brother, Jason, served as best man.
During the reception, attendees were treated to performances by Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney, along with raffle prizes that included Cartier watches and designer bags.
The couple celebrated their marriage with a sign that read “JUST&T MARRIED!” displayed outside Madison Square Garden.
The rehearsal dinner took place at the Infosys Theater in MSG the night before the wedding.
