Tennis fans slammed pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL star Travis Kelce for what many perceived as vulgar behavior at the U.S. Open on Sunday.
Swift and Kelsey, accompanied by Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, attended a tennis match at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York to watch Italy's world number one Jannik Sinner defeat US star Taylor Fritz in straight sets.
But when TV cameras panned to the celebrity section of the audience, Swift and Kelsey rocked, as the pair began dancing and singing along to the 2003 hit. I believe in love by darknessOn social media, Astonished By action, Daily Mail.
Like many fans, the Mahomes' aren't exactly impressed with Swift and Kelce's actions.
In the video, Brittany can be seen asking her husband, “Do you know this song?” to which Patrick responds, “Like, what?”
There was already speculation on social media that Patrick and Brittany were distancing themselves from Swift and Kelce after Swift and Brittany Mahomes were not seen sitting together at the Chiefs' 2024 NFL season opener last week.
Many on social media accused Swift and Kelsey of showing off, preening and acting like teenagers in front of the cameras.
