Consumers and investors have been closely monitoring supply and demand for Tesla’s Cybertruck. CEO Elon Musk In recent years, the company has been investing heavily in its EV truck line with the goal of producing 200,000 units per year.

Musk said last fall that Tesla had received 1 million preorders for the truck, but some customers have said they are waiting for a cheaper version because the price and range have been higher than initially expected.

Potential buyers could reserve their truck with a refundable $100 deposit to secure it once deliveries began after a lengthy delay that saw it pushed back to late November 2023.
