Tesla owner prepares seafood boil inside car, shocking viewers

Toss the shrimp on the grill.

An influencer is causing a stir online after posting a video of her preparing an elaborate seafood boil using an electric cooker inside her all-white Tesla.

“Elon, Baby, We've Come a Long Way” Alyssa Lauren Manaig captioned an Instagram clip Introducing her unusual take-home recipes.

It uses what appears to be a pink electric Top Wit hot pot and grill in one. It's sold online at Amazon for just under $70. In addition to cooking shrimp and sausage, Manaig also cooked with fish. Eating from the driver's seat.

Preparing the meal included chopping potatoes on a cutting board, mincing garlic, and slicing butter and lemon with a sharp purple knife.

When making the shrimp spread, Manaig also created a space in a glass bowl to mix the spices (including Old Bay seasoning).

She enjoyed a meal fit for King Neptune on a cutting board covered with Saran wrap, and dipped shrimp in the saucepan of an electric cooker inside her electric car.

Not everyone was wowed by this meal or the trend behind it.

A while ago, someone made a pizza in a hotel bathroom and it went viral.

“I wonder why people are so obsessed with cooking in places other than their own kitchens,” wrote one shocked reviewer.

“Your car must smell greasy,” another user commented on Manaig's post.

“Just because you can doesn't mean you should,” added a third.

as strange as manaig Purchased a “dream” Tesla in 2020maybe it's to use the car as an impromptu kitchen — she even made fried chicken and homemade Taco Bell Crunchwraps in it — people have gone to great lengths to push the limits of EVs.

One TikToker in Western Canada moved permanently into a Model Y with his dog, while another accidentally drove each other's Teslas home.
