Tesla vandalism suspect faces diversion instead of charges in Minnesota

Dylan Brian Adams, a data analyst with the Minnesota Department of Human Services, is likely not to face accusations that allegedly destroy at least six Tesla vehicles, causing a total of $20,000 in damages.

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office (HCAO) said it would seek “repurpose” rather than charges.

Tesla owners should observe safety measures to ensure the Fed fights “domestic terrorism”: Retired Sgt.

“The Minneapolis Police Department did the job. We identified and investigated crime trends, identified suspects, arrested them, presented case files to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office to consider the charges,” Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara said in a statement. The complaints relating to the Hennepin County Attorney’s claim decision should be directed solely to her office. At a press conference on April 17, Minneapolis police displayed videos of suspects keen several Tesla vehicles. According to O’Hara, the conduct constituted a felony, with each conduct causing a minimum of $1,000 damage.

Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty is unfamiliar with the controversy. In October 2023, Moriarty was criticized for a controversial plea deal that disrupted the families of the murder victims and sparked concerns from legal experts.

Tesla vehicles and real estate across the country are targeted by vandals. In many cases, the attack comes as a protest against Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s work in the Trump administration.

In March, when the DOJ began chasing Teslavandal, Attorney General Pam Bondy said the wave of attacks was “nothing like domestic terrorism,” ensuring that perpetrators face consequences.
