A few days after being released from the court-ordered rage management program, a Texas man convicted of killing a pastor at his church during robbery was killed Wednesday evening.
Stephen Rouine Nelson, 37, was declared dead at 6:50pm local time after a Lathan injection administered at the state prison in Huntsville.
Before the injection, Nelson told his wife repeatedly. He watched through the window a little away from him with a white service dog she was allowed to bring into the witness area, he loved her, he was grateful and grateful, Associated Press Reported.
“What is that,” Nelson said in the final word opportunity. “I'm not scared. I'm in peace. Let's ride, Warden.”

A lethal dose of the sedative pentobarbital was being given, Nelson told Helen Noah Dubois. As he said the word “love,” he seemed to breathe twice, trying to hold his breath. His head, shoulders and arms shaking for a few seconds before everything stopped moving. He was declared dead 24 minutes later.
Nelson was sentenced to death for the 2011 murder of Rev. Clint Dobson, who was beaten, strangled and choked in a plastic bag inside North Point Baptist Church in Arlington. Nelson killed Dobson while he was sitting in the office writing a sermon.
Nelson accused two other men of killing Dobson, claiming he was only serving as a robber. He said he saw Dobson and his church secretary Judy Elliott being beaten before waiting around the church for about 25 minutes before entering. He claimed Dobson was still alive.
Nelson said one of the other two men who took Dobson's laptop and participated in the robbery gave Elliott's car keys and a credit card. The two victims were placed by Elliott's husband, a part-time music minister at the church.

Nelson was captured after shopping using the victim's stolen credit card. Fox Dallas It has been reported.

“As a family, we chose to take the day to focus on Clint's wonderful memories rather than devote time to his murderer,” Dobson's family said in their statement. “Steven Nelson has changed our lives forever, but he never occupied our hearts… We miss Clint every day. We laugh at him. and miss his wit, his advice and love for us.”
Bradley Elliott, whose mother Judy survived the attack, said: “The statement added: “Mr. Nelson, we want to forgive you and meet you when we are called to our house from here.”

Nelson's lawyers allegedly easing evidence from troubled childhood in Oklahoma and Texas, claiming he did not challenge two other men Alivis. He claimed that it was not.
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice did not immediately respond to a request for information about Nelson's last meal.

Nelson's execution is the second in the United States this year, the first of four scheduled for Texas over the next three months.
