Texas Court Blocks Joe Biden’s Parole Amnesty

A federal judge has temporarily blocked President Joe Biden's “parole” amnesty for about 500,000 illegal immigrants who have married Americans.

“A great victory!” said Tweet from Stephen Miller's America First Legal, which joined 16 Republican attorneys general in filing a lawsuit against the pardon. The decision also allows states to review federal documents related to the White House pardon.

“It's a brutal lawsuit.” Responded This is a tweet from FWD.us, Mark Zuckerberg's West Coast lobbying group for consumer economic investors, which lobbied hard for President Biden to issue amnesty, in part because it would create yet another problem for Americans trying to curb the administration's mass immigration.

of The New York Times Reported:

Judge J. Campbell Barker The US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas issued an administrative stay order halting the approval of the administration's applications, which began being accepted last week, while the court considers the substantive aspects of the case.

In halting the initiative, Judge Barker wrote: Page 67 Complaints A proposed immigration policy proposal introduced Friday by a coalition of states led by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton raises legitimate questions about the executive branch's authority to circumvent Congress and set immigration policy.

“The allegations are serious and require more thorough review than this Court has previously been able to give,” wrote Judge Barker, who was appointed by former President Donald J. Trump.

Biden's Cuban-born, pro-immigration border chief, Alejandro Mayorkas, is fast-tracking the immigrant amnesty process even as mass marriage fraud is all but inevitable.

ABC News Reported August 21:

Cecilia sat at her computer on Monday, repeatedly refreshing a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services webpage, waiting for an application for the Biden administration's “Keeping Families Together” program to appear on the screen.

After a few minutes, she clicked it open and submitted the form within 20 minutes.

A little over 24 hours later, she received an email with the news she'd been waiting 20 years for.

But despite the court loss, Biden's Department of Homeland Security “will continue to accept new applications as this case continues to proceed in court,” a statement from FWD.us said.

“This is a baseless legal attack focused entirely on political intent to attack immigrants and American families in opposition to deeply popular and legitimate policy,” said Todd Schulte, a former Democratic Party staffer who now runs the lobbying group FWD.us.

Breitbart News has reported extensively on pardons and the lobbying groups that pressured Biden to issue election pardons. For example, NBC News reported:

There are roughly 15,000 people eligible for parole in Arizona who don't have the right to vote themselves, but all are married to U.S. citizens who do, or belong to families or communities full of citizens who indirectly benefit from the policy, according to FWD.us, an immigrant advocacy group that advocates for the program.

Given Biden's victory in Arizona in 2020 with 10,457 votes, and the close margin between Harris and Trump in opinion polls, the political impact of the parole system could be crucial.

But U.S. laws are written by Congress, and a White House pardon denies U.S. lawmakers the right to set immigration law through debate and compromise.

Recent polls have revealed that a majority of Americans support deporting illegal immigrants.

Biden's amnesty announcement also proposed a new “D-3” amnesty for undocumented immigrants paying tuition to earn a college degree — a move that could also be blocked because it exploits the nation's restrictive parole laws to achieve its ambitious goals.
