Texas Dem running to unseat Ted Cruz has received thousands in donations from anti-Israel activists

Democratic Senate candidate Colin Allred received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from activists with ties to extremist groups who espouse anti-Israel views and promote the same policies, federal election commissioners have found. This was revealed through an investigation of documents submitted to the association.

But for years, he has accepted campaign contributions from individuals with anti-Israel ties, and his campaign has remained silent when asked about the donations.

Allred previously received $312 from Ibrahim Al-Husseini, a venture capitalist and environmental activist who defended Palestinians’ “hatred” of Israelis when he ran for Congress.

“People ask why Palestinian children hate Israelis, and my simple answer is this: If Israel is going to live the life it imposes on them, don’t you dare hate them. “I would rather die standing than live in a vacuum,” al-Husseini wrote. His Twitter post from February 2018.
