Texas Father, Son Charged in Murder of Pregnant Woman

A father and son are charged in the December 21st death of a pregnant woman, identified as 18-year-old Savana Soto, and her 22-year-old boyfriend, Matthew Guerra, in San Antonio, Texas. Both victims died from gunfire. The coroner said there was a wound to the head.

19-year-old Christopher Preciado charged with secret murder, abuse of corpse, alteration or destruction of human corpse, News 4 San Antonio report Wednesday.

The young man's father, Ramon Preciado, 53, is charged with tampering with or destruction of human remains and abuse of human remains after he allegedly helped his son move the victim's body.

The murder occurred on December 21st, and the victim's body was moved from the scene to another location. She said when her relatives reported the young woman missing on Dec. 22, they realized she was past her induction date.

The outlet continued:

Soto and Guerra were found dead in a gray Kia Optima in the parking lot of Colinas Medical Apartments off Danny Kaye Drive on Dec. 26. Savannah was found dead in the front seat and Matthew was found dead in the back seat. Investigators believe Matthew was dragged into the vehicle, according to a police report.

While detectives were waiting for a search warrant for the vehicle, a family member told them that Matthew was planning to sell drugs and use his cell phone to conduct drug transactions. According to the police report, “her boyfriend encouraged her to post money and drugs on Instagram.” It is stated that people were trying to rob (Matthew) and it is stated that (he) had been shot before. ”

Breitbart News reported on December 27 that Guerra is on probation for assaulting Soto on Christmas Day 2022.

According to court records, “Guerra was charged with assaulting Soto and was sentenced to probation, which is scheduled to end in June 2024, but he was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon, evading arrest in a vehicle, and reckless driving. He also received new charges,'' the article said.

Authorities are holding the suspects at the Bexar County Jail. The younger man's bail is set at $2 million, while the older man's bail is set at $600,000.
