On Friday, Texas Gun Rights (TXGR) rejected Kyle Rittenhouse’s anti-Trump message by “proudly” endorsing Donald Trump as “the only choice” for president in 2024.
TXGR issued The press release begins with the words, “Texas Gun Rights proudly supports President Trump’s reelection to the White House and urges all gun owners to do the same.”
The announcement read, “Kamala [Harris] By promising sweeping gun control measures, firearms registration, and gun confiscation without due process, she has ensured that she will be the most gun-control president in American history.”
TXGR ended its statement by writing, “We need President Trump to protect our rights. We cannot allow Kamala Harris to win in November. Texas Gun Rights supports Donald Trump.”

Earlier, Breitbart News reported on Friday that Rittenhouse used a social media video message to announce that he would not vote for Donald Trump in the next presidential election.
Rittenhouse, outreach director for the Texas Gun Rights Association, Said“Unfortunately, Donald Trump has had bad advisors and has taken a bad stance on the Second Amendment, and that’s my problem.”
Texas Gun Rights is scheduled to host a clay pigeon shooting tournament on September 12, 2024, but one of the invited guests, Chad Prather, has announced he will not attend in light of Rittenhouse’s comments.
