According to an arrest affidavit obtained by FOX 4, the naked man was identified as 27-year-old Crisantus Omondi, who was renting an Airbnb on the street.

Omondi approached Jackson and the homeowner and began yelling in the homeowner's face, saying he was “on his property” while still holding the keys, police said.

“He never wants to see me again. I should leave,” the homeowner recalled Omondi yelling. ”[Jackson] He answered, “No, this is his property and his home.” It's cold outside, so let's unload the firewood. ”

The homeowner said Omondi pushed Jackson, then repeatedly hit him with a piece of wood and eventually threw firewood at his wheelbarrow.

The suspect then chased the homeowner into his home before returning to Jackson and beating him to death with a log, according to the homeowner's recollection, which police confirmed through other witnesses and video surveillance.

After the fatal attack, Omondi returned to the Airbnb where he was staying and allegedly threatened a woman who had rented another room in the house to do laundry, the arrest affidavit said.

The woman told police that Omondi kept yelling, “I'm going to hit you. I'm going to mess you up,” as he tried to force his way into her room. She was able to get into the bathroom, but he was also trying to get in there when police arrived.

Omondi, who was still naked and allegedly “noncompliant and aggressive,” was told by police to leave the house, and he did so while yelling at law enforcement. He was eventually arrested after officers fired a Taser.
