Texas man Roderick Jackson says Walmart mistook him as shoplifter, demands $100 million in damages

A Texas man is suing Walmart for the second time in three years, seeking $100 million in damages or unlimited free shopping at all stores forever.

Roderick Jackson of Waskom, Texas, filed two handwritten complaints claiming he is suing Walmart for an incident that occurred at a store in Omaha, Nebraska, in March 2021.

Mr. Jackson's original complaint was filed in 2021 and alleges the exact same scenario and events as the most recent complaint.

Both complaints do not elaborate on why Jackson is suing Walmart, but allege that it involves “false shoplifting charges.”

“We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Mr. Jackson's claims are nearly identical to the dismissed lawsuit he filed against the company in 2021,” a Walmart spokesperson told Fox News Digital. However, the company said it intends to defend the company against the charges once they are properly addressed and will promptly ask the court to dismiss the baseless allegations.

The complaint filed by Roderick Jackson does not detail why he is suing Walmart, but the Texas man posted on his website that the lawsuit involved “faking shoplifting.” There is.

The suit says Jackson was suffering from “emotional stress and pain from being handcuffed.”
