Texas Man Arrested After Multiple Trespassing Attempts at CIA Headquarters

A Texas resident has been apprehended following a series of unsuccessful attempts to breach the CIA headquarters over the span of four days. He reportedly told law enforcement he was “intending” to be there, despite several clear warnings against such actions.

Conor Lynn Mayo has been charged with trespassing by federal officials after evidence revealed he drove to the CIA’s entrance in Langley, Virginia, on multiple occasions between April 24 and April 27, as outlined in court documents.

Most recently, on a Monday morning around 9:40 a.m., Mayo arrived in a white Hyundai Elantra, displaying Texas plates and ignoring various posted warning signs and detour instructions, according to court records.

When confronted by CIA personnel, Mayo failed to present valid identification and attempted to flee quickly. He was eventually halted by officers who utilized a diversionary tactic.

CIA police recognized Mayo as the same individual involved in two earlier incidents after checking his license plate.

On April 24, he reportedly approached the entrance and was ordered to leave. Then, just two days later, he managed to slip through a security barrier by following closely behind an authorized vehicle, receiving a citation and a warning that he would be arrested if he came back.

Despite this warning, Mayo returned on Monday, resulting in his arrest. During questioning, he allegedly admitted to knowing he was trespassing and acknowledged prior warnings. He claimed he believed he was “going to work for the CIA,” according to the documents.

Mayo also mentioned visiting the Pentagon the day before and expressed a peculiar wish to be taken into custody. Authorities have yet to clarify what motivated his repeated attempts to access the CIA, and the investigation remains active.
