Texas DPS Seeks Information on Most Wanted Fugitive
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is looking for information related to two counts of indecency with a child, which led to a $4,000 reward in June. This investigation has resulted in the arrest of undocumented individuals from Mexico. Additionally, several Mexican nationals are currently wanted for probation violations following previous assault convictions that inflicted physical harm.
DPS officials are appealing to the public for assistance in locating one of the state’s most wanted offenders, 27-year-old Angel Brahajan Guerrero Gallegos. There’s a reward of $4,000 for any information that aids in his arrest.
Guerrero Gallegos has been a target of police efforts since May 2024, according to DPS representatives. The Fort Worth Police Department has issued a warrant for his capture, stemming from two charges of indecency with a child by exposure. He’s also reported to have violated probation after being convicted in Johnson County, Texas, for causing bodily injury through assault.
According to the DPS, Guerrero Gallegos is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 200 pounds. He has tattoos on his chest and arms, as well as scars on his abdomen and right arm. For further details about him or updates on his case, individuals are encouraged to check the DPS website.
Texas Crime Stoppers, which is supported by the governor’s Department of Public Safety, is offering cash rewards for tips leading to the arrest of Texas’s wanted fugitives, including sex offenders and undocumented criminals. As of 2025, DPS and its partner agencies have apprehended 31 fugitives, which includes eight sex offenders and nine undocumented immigrants.
If anyone has information concerning Guerrero Gallegos, they are urged to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 800-252-8477.
