Officials said the Texas suspect's plan, “similar to the fatal 2016 Dallas Ambesh,” was thwarted by local officials and federal officials.
Seth “Andrea” Gregory, 21, was arrested on a terrorist threat warrant at 9:25am Monday, the Corpus Christi Police Department said.
“The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been notified that Gregory is pose a terrorist threat to officers of the Corpus Christi Police Station (CCPD),” the department said on its release. “The Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the threat and secured a warrant for Gregory.”
Gregory was born male but has identified her as a female, CCPD senior executive Antonio Contreras told Fox News Digital.

Authorities said Hint notified police after he noticed Gregory was friendly with some officers in the downtown area and was taking photos of them. The hint also said Gregoria recently bought an AR-style gun.
The 21-year-old suspect is said to have modeled the attack “similar to the 2016 Dallas Ambush” conducted by Mika Xavier Johnson.
The 2016 incident referenced by the FBI involved a police ambush that killed five Dallas police department officials and injured seven people.
Dallas Police Department officers Lone Arlens, Michael Kroll, Michael Smith, Patrick Zamaripa and Dallas area Rapid Transit Officer Brent Thompson were killed.

Johnson, a former US Army reserve, was killed by police when the robot exploded the bomb that was delivered.
Dallas Police Chief David O. Brown said Johnson cited fatal shootings of black men by Louisiana and Minnesota police officers during the investigation into the 2016 attack, prompting protest marches in Dallas and many other cities.

“The suspect said he was angry with the whites and wanted to kill whites, especially white officers,” Brown said.

Gregory was arrested Monday for public service/public fears and serious physical injuries and threats to prevent criminal trespassing, and was held custody at the Nues County Jail on a $50,500 bond on Tuesday morning.
