Text messages between Hunter Biden and his sister-in-law and former lover were some of the most conclusive evidence against him, jurors said following his historic guilty verdict in federal court.
“[The text messages showed]”In my opinion, he was training to get drugs,” a 51-year-old Black woman from Upper Delaware told The Post about the exchange of accusations between Hunter and Hallie Biden.
Hallie Biden, who took the stand last week, was shown a text message from Oct. 13, 2018, the day after Hunter bought the gun, in which he said he’d been in a car with a drug dealer named Mookie.

Asked what she thought he was talking about, Harry replied: “He was buying crack cocaine.”
Hunter sent Harry another message the following day, in which Hunter claimed to have been sleeping in his car while smoking crack cocaine.
“To me, he looks defeated, he looks helpless,” the juror said of the embattled eldest son.
“If you haven’t already, I think you need to get away and get some serious rehab. I hope you’re not still using drugs,” she added.
“The jurors worked really well together,” he said.
“Given who his father is and the political climate in the country, I expected that we would all be pitted against each other. The outcome was much better than expected.”
