No More Coupon Clipping

Nowadays, savvy shoppers are turning to smartphone applications that provide cashback on groceries—even for items they’ve already bought.

The Aisle app, launched in 2021, allows users to snag discounts on groceries and personal care items at various major supermarkets. Offers like buy-one-get-one-free, dollar savings, and even complete refunds on certain products are all part of the deal.

Once you shop for groceries and upload your receipt, cashback is given based on the deals you’ve selected.

After downloading the app, a quick search for your local grocery store will reveal available offers that you can claim.

Aisle frequently features products from smaller brands, including items like Hopwtr drinks and Realsy dates filled with nut butter. However, popular private label brands such as Trader Joe’s are not included. Discounts are available at big names like Whole Foods, Wegmans, Target, Kroger, Walmart, Key Foods, and 7-Eleven.

There are also occasional sales on pricier products, like Momofuku’s Chili Crunch Oil.

Choosing this method might require a bit more strategy before your grocery trips and a willingness to switch up brands.

Keep in mind that some offers could shift after being used a few times, and availability will vary according to the grocery chain and location.

After claiming a discount, you can head to any participating store, buy the item, and don’t forget to save the receipt. Simply snap a photo of it and send it to the automated text chain set up by Aisle.

Aisle is a fun option if you’re feeling adventurous and want to experiment with new products instead of sticking to your usual choices—no more wasting money on things you might not enjoy.

For refunds to work, you’ll need a Venmo account linked to the same phone number used for the Aisle app. It’s worth noting that refunds can take anywhere from 24 to 72 hours to process.

Currently, the app is limited to iPhone users, but Android users can access Aisle via its website.
