A week after the tragic murders at the University of Idaho, Brian Coberger reportedly accepted a plea deal, possibly to evade the impact of a new crime documentary.
The documentary titled “One Night in Idaho: College Murders” is set to premiere on Prime Video on July 11th. All episodes will be available to stream simultaneously.
On November 13, 2022, four University of Idaho students—Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves, and Zana Kernodle—lost their lives in a nighttime attack at an off-campus residence. Coberger was arrested later, on December 30, 2022, in connection with these murders.
Almost three years later, Coberger pleaded guilty to the charges on July 2nd. This revelation reportedly upset the victims’ families, as the court might have sought to shield them from more horrific details of the case.
The documentary includes exclusive interviews with the victims’ families, focusing on their experiences and the ongoing aftermath of the tragedy.
