Jones' words probably didn't bring much comfort to head coach Mike McCarthy or quarterback Dak Prescott.
“I just want to say this to the fans: How much you deserve not to end up like this,” Jones told reporters immediately after the loss. “I have spent the last three hours not really asking how and why. Everyone in this room was thinking, [we] They were in a position to take this thing forward in the playoffs and maybe get to where our dreams might take us. we didn't do that. ”
