In a recent TikTok series, Jenny, who is married to Jets offensive lineman Brian Winters, candidly shared her thoughts while answering “NFL’s rapid-fire questions.”
In a video released on Tuesday, she revealed that her husband often faced random drug tests. She recalled how, on their wedding day in August 2017, while he was still with the Jets, Brian received an unexpected call from a drug inspector.
“The morning of the wedding, my husband got this call, saying something like, ‘Oh, awesome, but we’re literally getting married today,’” Jenny shared. “They told him to send his address, and then they showed up. I mean, nothing says romantic wedding vibes quite like a stranger watching you pee in a cup.”
Jenny also recounted another memorable incident: “A few months before, Brian had posted a video of him towing three Ford trucks, and the next day, someone knocked on our door for a drug test.”
Brian spent seven seasons with the Jets after being drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, playing a total of 89 games before short stints with the Bills and Cardinals.
Reflecting on her experience with the Cardinals, she mentioned, “There’s no shade toward them, but it was my least favorite team, and I couldn’t wait to go home,” noted Jenny in another video posted on Thursday.
She disclosed her final question, aimed at fellow wives: “Do you know about side pieces?” Jenny recounted hearing stories of altercations in football circles when someone discovered infidelity. “Yeah, some know, and some don’t,” she said.
Starting this series earlier this week, Jenny expressed her desire to share “interesting” and perhaps “facinating” insights about the NFL, especially now that her husband has retired. Since then, Brian has returned to Ohio, where he is focusing on his family and a new career as a contractor.
He has founded a company called Fair Painters and Contracting, while Jenny handles the investment aspects. The couple lives in Aurora, Ohio, with their three children, as per the Jets’ announcement.
