Kevin O’Leary Discusses Importance of Trade Deals with China
On Fox News Channel’s Sunday Night in America, Kevin O’Leary, known for his role on “Shark Tank,” stressed the significance of the Trump administration’s initiatives aimed at limiting China’s economic and global influence.
In a conversation with host Trey Gowdy, O’Leary pointed out that the primary focus should be on trade agreements with China.
Gowdy remarked, “You’re a negotiating expert. President Trump is known for making contracts. If he or Scott Bescent were to reach out and ask, ‘Good evening, Mr. Wonderful, how can we finalize these deals?’ What would you suggest?”
O’Leary responded, “I could list 90 deals in 90 days, but they aren’t what truly matters. The key issue is China. That’s the real contract. These two economies are the largest. Everything we see—technology, economic tensions, Taiwan, TikTok—it’s all interconnected. The real question is how we align on these topics.”
He further stated, “If you want to compete globally, to be part of the G7 or G8, you have to play by the established rules. It’s crucial to recognize that you need to be fully invested. That’s what I prioritize.”
