The opinion of Drake Maye’s wife on the comments about Gisele Bündchen’s TikTok

Drake Maye’s biggest supporter has responded to a wave of comments on her popular TikTok account, which includes discussions about former Patriots wives and girlfriends.

During a recent backstage chat with Dave Portnoy on his new show, Beyond Bakemas, Maye was asked if she pays attention to the comments from fans who are really into her Bakemas series. Portnoy pointed out that some viewers are criticizing Gisele Bündchen, the ex-wife of Tom Brady.

“Yeah, there’s always comments like, ‘Gisele would never do it,’ or ‘Giselle would never do it,'” Mrs. May said in a clip shared by NBC Sports Boston. “She’s a really nice person; it’s fine.”

Bündchen, 45, was there for Brady, 48, during his tremendous career in New England, where he won six Super Bowls over two decades, before moving to Tampa Bay in 2020.

His last championship victory came in February 2021, just a year before his divorce from Bündchen after 13 years of marriage. She has since remarried, tying the knot with Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquin Valente.

In the meantime, the Patriots have made significant changes. They selected Maye, 23, as the third overall pick from North Carolina in the 2024 draft.

New England transformed from the worst team to first place following Maye’s rocky 4-13 rookie season, during which he threw 31 touchdowns against eight interceptions under coach Mike Vrabel.

The Patriots’ stock is rising in 2025, as is the popularity of both Maye and his wife Ann Michael, particularly after her holiday-themed Bakemas series caught on in December.

The team continued their winning streak on Sunday with Maye’s playoff debut, defeating the Chargers 16-3 in a wild-card matchup.

Now, as the second seed in the AFC, New England will host the winner of Monday’s game between the Steelers and Texans in the upcoming divisional round.
