Actress Jane Fonda was among the Hollywood celebrities who appeared on an online conference call endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the presidential election.
Appearing on the “Elders for Kamala” Zoom call on Monday night, Fonda called Harris “the leader we need right now” and praised the vice president as “brave” and “wise.”
“I’ve never had anything like this before where all of a sudden there’s this excitement and this hope and a complete turnaround,” Fonda said. according to variety“I know we’re all excited, but don’t we also see great potential in the future? Not just because the Orange Man is terrible, but because Kamala is the leader we need right now. She’s brave, smart, experienced and she can beat him.”
