The Legend of Atlantis: A Myth or Reality?

Atlantis is often described as a mythical island in the Atlantic, historically portrayed as a wealthy land ruled by a powerful prince. This prince was reputed to have conquered vast territories across the Mediterranean before ultimately being defeated by the Athenians and their allies.

While skepticism surrounds the existence of Atlantis, Jimmy Corsetti from “Bright Insight” has been digging into the matter and asserts it’s not just a myth—he believes the truth is buried somewhere out there.

“About 11,600 years ago, rising sea levels reshaped coastlines, so we need to look along the shores for clues,” Corsetti explains during an appearance on “Primetime with Alex Stein.”

“It’s intriguing,” he continues. “We’ve all heard about Plato’s Atlantis. Well, he learned of it from his ancestors—believed to be among the wisest men of their age.”

“So, he likely visited there around 600 B.C.,” he adds. Corsetti notes that an Egyptian priest claimed the events took place precisely 9,000 years ago.

“This isn’t merely about the Caribbean or whimsical tales. There’s legitimate scientific evidence that could lend credibility to the existence of such a place,” he says confidently.

Corsetti also shares a theory regarding the lost city’s potential location. “Are you familiar with the Western Sahara Rechat structure? It has emerged as a strong candidate for the site of Atlantis, closely aligning with Plato’s descriptions,” he explains.

He believes, “The discourse around Atlantis isn’t exaggerated at all. In fact, it seems plausible that humans engaged in remarkable activities during that timeframe before being eradicated by global upheavals.”
