The Rock says ‘freedom is our greatest privilege’ while visiting troops in Hawaii

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is a champion of his people for many reasons, and he acknowledged that he is “forever a proud patriot” because of his military service.

The “Fast and Furious” star was filled with gratitude during his visit with troops stationed in Hawaii.

The Rock shared on social media, “It is an honor to return to the land of fear and spend time with our soldiers and their families here at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam on Oahu, Hawaii.”

The legendary WWE wrestler then held a special screening of his latest film, “Moana 2.”

“What an honor and honor it is to be back on this base,” he told the packed theater. “I grew up here on the other side of the island. As a child and teenager, I did a lot of things I shouldn't have done.”

He added: “I'm really excited about this film because it's about our culture, our people and our island.”

Before leaving the stage, The Rock was presented with a Joint Base flag “as a token of our gratitude.”

“I love you all. Thank you for your service. I truly love you,” he said.
