“I ask people if they have read the First Amendment, and I know the answer is no,” she continued, adding, “It puts young women in this country at risk of having their rights violated.” You will be exposed.”

Walters called the change in federal regulations “unlawful,” explaining that USDE “is not given legislative or judicial authority to redefine sex.”
The response Walters received from school administrators was encouraging.
“Honestly, the first reaction was a lot of them thanking me and telling me how much they appreciate it,” he told Gonzalez.
“Let’s be honest, Sarah, not only should the states not comply, not only should the states fight back, but they should send a loud, resounding message to the federal Department of Education: ‘You shouldn’t exist.'” he added. .
