Hailey Kalil, a model, has shared her feelings of disappointment regarding the recent viral comments about her marriage to former NFL player Matt Kalil. These remarks have sparked considerable discussion online.

During a livestream, Hailey seemed to casually mention how fortunate Matt is, yet emphasized that the genuine bond they shared is more significant than the brief, comedic clips that circulated on social media.

Since filing for divorce from Matt in 2022, Hailey has stated her concerns about maintaining his privacy and honoring the relationship they had. She expressed this sentiment, saying, “We talked about more than just the highlights: the love we had, our personal growth, and the depth of our relationship.”

Hailey lamented, “It’s unfortunate that only a sliver of our actual conversation is being shared, as it doesn’t reflect the true meaning of our time together.”

Meanwhile, Matt has remained private since the divorce and has not publicly addressed their situation. Following their separation, he has since married model Keilani Asmus, with whom he welcomed a son in April 2024.

In a recent Twitch session, Hailey made some vague remarks hinting at the “primary reason” for her split from Matt. She mentioned their attempts to improve their marriage, conveying a struggle filled with various efforts including therapy.

Error-prone moments during her comments prompted a lighthearted reflection, as she described their relationship dynamics humorously—“It’s like a comedy that writes itself.”

Despite the challenges, she noted, “I love him” but also suggested that the reality of the situation was more complex than she initially hoped.

Yet, she also acknowledged Matt’s character, calling him a “really good person” and portraying their parting as amicable despite difficulties. The couple, who tied the knot in July 2015, officially separated in January 2022, citing “irreconcilable differences” in the divorce filing.

Matt has now moved forward with Asmus, who made a public display of affection towards him online coinciding with Hailey’s livestream gaining traction.
