“We're going to miss him. He's a good guy. You know, he's spent the last 50 years thinking about this country. This is another thing.” [Donald Trump] For 50 years, he deceived everyone and tried to escape from prison. Do you know who I'm talking about? I really miss Biden. I feel like we were safe, like we didn't have to worry, wasn't something going to explode? I was able to live my life while he was there,” Behar said.
“I wake up every day and wonder what this person is going to do next,” she said of President-elect Donald Trump.

In his farewell address, the president warned Americans about the “dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very wealthy few.”
”I would like to warn this country about something that is very concerning. …It is a dangerous concentration of power in the hands of a very small number of super-rich people. If their abuse of power goes unchecked, there will be dangerous consequences,” he said.
Liberal media hosts praised the president's speech, with commentators calling it one of the “best,” “most memorable,” and “low-key” speeches of his life.
MSNBC host Rachel Maddow talked about Biden's speech about the tech “oligarchy” that threatens the country and the news coverage after Meta announced it would end fact-checking on its social media platforms. I mainly focused on the part that warned about concerns for freedom.
“It was a solemn, somber story, and like I said, it sent a chill down my spine,” Maddow said. “I think he's right and I'm glad he took the time to say that.”

Behar, a big fan of Biden and a leading critic of President Trump, also criticized country music star Carrie Underwood on Tuesday for agreeing to perform at President Trump's inauguration.
“She says, 'I love our country.' In my opinion, why would you love your country and support a convicted felon who is really trying to destroy it, “I don't understand how you can regularize this convicted felon and at the same time say you love your country,” Behar said.
