‘The View’ hosts joke about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking arrest

The co-hosts of “The View” joked about Sean “Diddy” Combs' arrest on sex trafficking charges after it was revealed that 1,000 bottles of lubricant were found during searches of his Miami and Los Angeles homes in March.

“It's not a crime, guys.” Co-host Alyssa Farrah Griffin.

Whoopi Goldberg lightly repeated the phrase “it's not a crime,” drawing laughter from her co-stars and the audience.

Meanwhile, Joy Behar called the incident “disgusting.”

Sunny Hostin, an attorney and the show's legal expert, kept a straight face as she detailed the horrifying allegations.

“These orgies were essentially organised by him involving underage girls, adults and commercial sex workers. [traveling] “It's a crime to do this across state lines,” she said.

“He had an AR-15 with an obliterated serial number, recorded phone calls. All of this combined carries a maximum sentence of 20 years to life in prison.”

Combs' longtime rival 50 Cent also took the opportunity to criticize the situation, captioning a photo of him with Drew Barrymore with a cheeky comment.

“I'm good friends with @DrewBarrymoreTV and I don't have 1,000 bottles of lotion in the house,” he wrote to X.

Combs was taken into police custody on Monday. At his arraignment on Tuesday, he was charged with three felony counts of organized criminal conspiracy, sex trafficking by coercion, fraud or threat, and transportation for prostitution.

In a 14-page indictment obtained by Page Six, prosecutors allege that the 54-year-old “Last Night” hitmaker “abuse, intimidate and coerce women and others into committing crimes over a period of decades in order to gratify his own sexual desires, protect his reputation and cover up his conduct.”

The defendants also alleged that the defendants created a “criminal organization whose members and associates engaged in sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.”

Combs pleaded not guilty to all three charges when he appeared in federal court in Lower Manhattan.

At a news conference after the arraignment, the musician's lawyer, Mark Anifilo, said Combs “does not fear the charges.”

“He's been waiting for this day, he's been waiting to clear his name. He hasn't done this.”

In addition to the federal charges, Combs is facing numerous sexual abuse and rape lawsuits since he was sued in November 2023 by his former girlfriend, Cassandra “Cathy” Ventura.

The two men reached a confidential settlement within 24 hours, but their lawyers argued that the settlement in no way proves any guilt.

The troubled music producer's arrest comes one week after he was ordered to pay $100 million for an alleged incident at a 1997 party.
