Many Democrats doubt President Joe Biden is unlikely to beat Donald Trump in November, but he still has a staunch supporter base. scenery — Whoopi Goldberg is among them.
On her show this morning, Goldberg painted a vivid picture of her unwavering loyalty to Biden, even after Biden’s shaky performance in last week’s debate with Trump.
“I don’t care if he shits his pants or can’t form a sentence,” Goldberg began. “If he proves he can’t do the job, I’ll say, ‘Okay, it’s time for you to quit.’
“Biden had a terrible night the first time he debated Kamala Harris,” Goldberg said, referring to the Democratic debates with 2020 candidates, including Harris, the current vice president.
“At the time, everybody wanted him to quit, saying, ‘You shouldn’t talk to women like this,’ and ‘This is wrong, that is wrong,’ and he came back and said, ‘I get it, I get it,’ and he did his four-year sentence,” Goldberg continued.
Then, pointing at himself, the presenter confessed, “I have poop days all the time. All the time. I step in more poop than you can imagine. Now I don’t rule the world, but I don’t know anyone who hasn’t stepped in poop at least once.”

But Goldberg made it clear she would continue to support Biden if he proved he was worthy of the job, and told her co-stars that she would drop out if the presidential debate turned out to be another shaky one.
“There are two debates, and if he doesn’t do what he needs to do in the second debate, I’ll join the people who say fire him,” Goldberg said, “But for me, it’s about loyalty. If you’re doing your job, I may not like everything you do, I may not like everything, but I’m going to have your back, just like the people who got behind the guy who couldn’t tell the truth with a split lip.”
She was referring to Trump, of course, though she refused to say his name. But Goldberg did reveal her latest moniker for the one-term president: “DT,” which she revealed on today’s episode as her “new way of describing” Trump.
