‘There’s Been No Evidence of Any Crime Whatsoever’ in Trump’s NYC Trial

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) said Thursday on CNN’s “News Central” that “there is no evidence of any crime” in former President Donald Trump’s New York business records case.

Host Kate Bolduan said, “We’ve seen many Republican members of Congress travel to New York City to watch Donald Trump’s trial to show their support for him.” Told.

she asked: “Do you think it’s important for someone who wants to be vice president to have to go to this trial?” I mean, do you think anyone can get the job without it? ”

“I submitted my license to practice law 20 years ago, but I have never seen the inside of a courtroom since, and I have no plans to ever do so,” Cotton said. I agree with President Trump’s statement. It’s important that we do our jobs as legislators in Washington, for example, to make sure that Joe Biden’s de facto arms embargo is reversed and that Israel gets the weapons it needs. ”

“I also think these questions should be on the table after today,” he added. “Everyone is so excited about President Trump’s lawyers cross-examining notorious and convicted liar Michael Cohen. I know. But the bigger news today is that if he stops the case based on the evidence presented by prosecutors, this judge will hand himself over by handing down a not guilty verdict against Donald Trump. All the wrong decisions made so far should be redeemed, because there is no evidence of any crime in this case, and the trial should be suspended for the prosecution.
