These stocks related to bitcoin are outperforming BTC: Crypto Daybook Americas

Traders looking for solid returns might want to keep an eye on US-listed Bitcoin mining stocks. Interestingly, some companies in this sector have managed to grow quickly by reducing their dependence on the unpredictable cryptocurrency price swings.

For instance, Terrawolf (WULF) shares have soared by 31% this month, despite Bitcoin’s price dropping nearly 17%. Similarly, Cipher Digital (CIFR) and HUT 8 (HUT) saw increases of 8% and 6%, respectively, while Core Scientific (CORZ) held its ground fairly well.

Markus Thielen, founder of 10x Research, pointed out that these stocks are popular among hedge funds that are shorting them and could rise if economic conditions turn favorable. He noted, “With long-term energy contracts locked in at appealing rates, these companies hold a strategic advantage that extends beyond just Bitcoin mining.”

Thielen also remarked that as investment flows increasingly favor the frontrunners, traditional miners may find themselves lagging behind.

Recently, Bitcoin has bounced back above the $65,000 mark, probably reflecting gains in futures associated with the Nasdaq 100 index. This increase occurred even though President Trump didn’t address cryptocurrencies in his recent State of the Union address.

According to data from SoSoValue, the Spot Bitcoin ETF saw net inflows of $257.7 million on Tuesday, marking the highest influx since early February. Analysts suggest that consistent capital flow over the next few days will be crucial for a market recovery.

Vikram Subraj, CEO of Geotas.com from Mumbai, commented on Bitcoin’s trading pattern, indicating that it’s at a pivotal point. He stated, “If it slips below $60,000, that might signify a downturn, with $57,500 as the next critical level. On the other hand, moving back to the $72,000-$75,000 range would signal a revival of risk appetite.”

In broader markets, the dollar index reversed its earlier decline, impacting dollar-priced assets like gold and Bitcoin. Although oil prices fell due to surging US stockpiles, concerns about potential military tensions between the U.S. and Iran kept the decline in check.
