Stein's original complaints included a statement from then-Dallas County Commissioner Justin Koch, who claimed the price was wrong when he kicked the comedian out of court.

“I illegally believe that Alex Stein has been ruled out. Alex Stein began reading about Judge Jenkins in an article about some of his past bad behaviour,” said Koch, the Supreme Court Justice of Texas' Fifth District Court of Appeals. ”
