In a shocking development, President Biden is suddenly concerned about incursions at the border.
The president has denied there is a border crisis for years, but has vowed to “immediately close the border” if Congress passes new emergency powers.
But Glenn Beck is less convinced that new emergency powers are what Biden needs, saying the president is actually concerned about the people immigrants most impact. I don’t even think there is.
“I don’t think we need special emergency powers,” Glenn said, noting that NBC compared the emergency powers to those put in place during COVID-19.
In Biden’s hands, these new emergency powers could do more harm than good, especially as he does everything he can to punish Texans who have been fighting to keep the border closed. There is.
The state has refused to withdraw control of Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas, and turn it over to federal authorities. As Texas residents struggle to stop the invasion, more than 20 other states have announced their support for Texas.
But then Biden on Friday banned all new liquid natural gas export approvals, a move that would deal a major blow to Texas’ economy.
“I want to improve the situation for the people of Texas, so I’m going to shut down 30% of all American supplies coming out of Texas,” Glenn scoffs.
