Large Crowd Gathers for Charlie Kirk Memorial in Glendale, Arizona
A significant assembly of supporters has formed at the Charlie Kirk memorial in Glendale, Arizona. As of early morning, tens of thousands were already present outside State Farm Stadium, even before the service was slated to start later in the day.
Reports indicated that as early as 4 AM local time, a sea of Kirk’s supporters began to gather in the parking lot, looking like an endless wave of people.
One reporter, Nick Sort, noted the overwhelming turnout in a post stating, “America is Charlie!” He described the atmosphere, saying, “The Charlie Kirk monument line is now a sea of tens of thousands of patriots. This is historic! America is becoming Charlie!”
According to estimates, the crowd could already be around 100,000, with projections possibly exceeding 300,000 attendees, based on “On-The Ground Report.” Eric Daugherty, an assistant news director, expressed his amazement at the crowd’s size and organization, even with several hours left until the event began.
The initial estimate of 100,000 has since been revised to 300,000, alongside a vision of the assembled supporters captured in photographs.
Many social media users shared their experiences while traveling to the memorial, highlighting the positive energy surrounding Kirk’s passion and influence. A South Carolina candidate, Mark Lynch, tweeted a video of passengers on his flight singing “Amazing Grace” upon landing in Phoenix for the memorial service.
Others, including conservative commentator John Doyle, echoed similar sentiments about the vibrant atmosphere in Phoenix, remarking on the excitement among fellow passengers about Charlie Kirk.
As thousands made their way to the stadium, it became evident that there were significant traffic jams, with lines of vehicles and attendees moving slowly through the area, creating an almost endless flow of people.
Supporters have also camped out on the streets in advance of the memorial, establishing a presence since the previous night at nearby locations. Reports showed large crowd formations wrapping around the soccer stadium in the early morning hours.
